It's Freezing Out There...

Yes, it's freezing out there... Temperatures hovering around 0-10oC... But no snow... What a waste.

Well, guess it's some time since I last wrote anything in my blog. Phew! The computer at home is finally up and running! That is after a 'detox' session at Challenger and a 'face-lift' involving a new flat screen monitor... Now they're even upgrading to an original version of Microsoft Office... Well, not that I'm really big into pirated software but I just find the price of the original Office a little too steep. Come to think of it, Microsoft Office is probably the most common word processing tool around in the world and yet, it cost so much. They should really keep the price below S$100. Yeah, make that below $50. This will really help reduce the number of pirated copies floating around.

Anyway, nothing much happened this weekend. Bought a lot of useless stuff though, like cookies and nuts... Too much junk, too much junk. Rented and watched the movie 'Thank you for smoking'. Smart and funny... A satire, really. It's about a spokesperson for the tobacco industry, how he deals with the media and questions from his 12-year-old son. Worth a watch.
