Iced
It's a cold, cloudy day today. Like my mood most of the time. Sometimes, I think I'm like the Snow Queen. I often detach myself from my feelings, I watch from afar as my physical being goes through the day, carrying out activities like everybody else. I think and muse over life. What if? (That's the catch phrase of the SciFi channel...) What if I'm doing something totally different? What if I'm working as a pastry chef? What if I'm growing vegetables? What if I'm a waitress? Would I be happier? Different? More passionate?
Like the deep blue sea, my mind is blank and calm, but it also has the potential to generate a storm. An earthquake occurs on the seabed, creating waves many miles away from the origin. Sometimes events occur, only to surface years later. Well, so far, there hasn't been any outbursts of any kind... I feel so iced today. I see fog floating by the window. And sometimes, I wonder what life would be if I'm somewhere else, doing something else.
